With a van we're going to drive from Vrhnika to sunny Izola, there we're going to mount our bikes and ride along the Parenzana road, also called the road of health and friendship.
Vineyards, olive trees, orchards and Istrias gardens will escort us along the way to the tunnel that leads to the Strunjan valley, where we will have a view of the pearl of Slovenian coast called Piran. Through the road tunnel Valeta we will descend to Portorož from camp Lucija to Sečovlje saltworks. The local tourist guides are going to share the secrets of this unique saltwork landscape.
Next we'll bike across Bernardin to Piran. There we will make a brief stop for lunch and later, full of life set out towards Fiessa. The precipiteus of the cliff and a narrow forest road are going to fill us up with adrenaline and then we will recharge ourselves in Strunjan on various energetic spots with healing energy.
With that we will end our trip and return back to Vrhnika. If we have any strenght and energy left, we can stop at Castle Socerb or descend into a cave called the »Holy cave«.
